Promotions

Congratulations to four brothers of Local #4131 on their recent promotion to the rank of Lieutenant. Brothers John Van Matre, Joey Jaisonowski, Tad Bush, and Bryan Caro have now taken on the duties of Fire Lieutenant, and are awaiting their first assignment.

New Hires

Congratulations to the newest full-time additions to Escambia County Fire Rescue. The following firefighters are currently awaiting their permanent assignments: FF Kyle Kraatz, FF Ian Sumner, FF Dale Dirks, FF/P Richie Wiggins, FF/P Scott Hunsucker, FF Adam Edwards, FF Nick Gradia, FF Ronson Cloer, FF Tyler Conroy, FF Sean King.

Congratulations to Terry Baker on his selection as Deputy Chief for Escambia County Fire Rescue. The membership of Local #4131 looks forward to a great working relationship and continuing the positive growth our organization has undergone over the last 8+ years.

Congratulations to Robert Whitfield on his selection as Volunteer Coordinator for Escambia County Fire Rescue. We look forward to working in a positive direction with you in the consolidation efforts for ECFR and unifying the fire services in Escambia County into a seamless organization.

New Station Assignments

Please visit our New Station Assignments page if you are interested in where our personnel will be shifting when we begin manning Station 14 with 24 hour coverage. This change is estimated to occur on May 25, 2008.

Escambia County Professional Firefighters Local #4131 was established in December 2001 for the benefit of CAREER firefighters with Escambia County Fire Rescue.
As of March 2007, we are 61 members strong, incorporating membership from all eligible employees of our department spanning the newest firefighter to our Battalion Chiefs.
